An opportunity has arisen for an experienced therapeutic radiographer ready to step up into a band 7 Team Leader role within the pre-treatment team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust's radiotherapy department.
This opening is an exciting time to join our team following the installation of a new Siemens go.We actively support professional development and encourage radiographer-led research and QI projects. We also support flexible working arrangements with the pre-treatment team working 9-day fortnights or reduced hours.
All applicants would be expected to support the working hours of the service and work across sites with the occasional need to support on-call working or ad hoc weekend work.
Operating mainly from our Charing Cross site, our current equipment portfolio includes five TrueBeam linacs (one at Hammersmith Hospital), Siemens go.

Post-graduate study in related specialist subjectsDemonstrable experience working in a senior clinical role supervising radiotherapy teams
Experience and good understanding of electronic patient management systems, and treatment and image verification systems including downloading data, entering data and checking data

Understands the risks associated with radiation and the optimisation of patients treatments
