We are an established but growing family run business, trusted and proven in providing electrical services across the South West.


With a team of 20 engineers on the road each day we cover a variety of electrical services, including new build installations, domestic rewires, large commercial projects and renewable energy.


We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper/administrator to join our small and friendly team at our office in Bradley Stoke.


The Role
Office Administrator/Bookkeeper

On-site free parking

Salary £14-16 an hour dependant on experience

Pro rata holiday pay

Company pension

Flexible lunch hour

Close to M4 and M5

Previous experience working in a small business or with trades would be an advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Verifying timesheets and submitting wage information to accountants ready for payroll
  • Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements and other accounts documents as required
  • Submitting monthly Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) data to accountants


Online Banking
  • Payment of Wages/Suppliers/HMRC/Expenses
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Effectively manage purchase ledger and credit control
  • Creation and maintenance of paperwork and documents, including new starter documents and contracts
  • General clerical office duties

Essential Skills

  • Highly proficient with numbers and accounts
  • Great IT skills, experienced using Sage
  • Confident using Google sheets, docs, forms and Google drive
  • Understanding of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
  • Previous experience in administration and bookkeeping in a stand alone role

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 21 per week

Salary:
£14.00-£16.00 per hour
