We seek a forward-thinking bookkeeper, someone who is competent, organised and motivated by the challenge of keeping our accounts organised and tidy.

We have recently transitioned to online systems for all business functions. This process is bedding in, we are eager for our new bookkeeper to support and improve the implementation.

You will have day-to-day bookkeeping responsibility, providing weekly & monthly reports to the MD.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, all round team player.

School friendly hours, school holidays to be agreed.


This role is currently being completed in 7 hours per week, and could be structured as one day, or split over two.


Current bookkeeper leaving end of April due to change in family circumstances, ideally you can attend a hand over asap, with a start date in early May.

There is some flexibility in dates.

The post will appeal to someone looking for an interesting role.

You need to have the ability to work independently and use your initiative to react to changing priorities with scope to make decisions within clear parameters.

Key Skills:
Proven track record of bookkeeping.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Autonomous, proactive and adaptable.
Confident user of technology. Proficient in Google Doc's, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
Passionate about company culture, doing the right thing for our customers.
Solution focused problem solving.
A working knowledge of Xero software is essential.
Leisure vehicle or automotive experience would be an advantage.
Language - must be fluent in English (written & verbal).

Covid safety is front of mind to protect all staff & customers, this role will have it's own office, PC, desk, phone, etc.


The hours of work will be between: 9.00am and 4.30pm, with 30 minute unpaid lunch break (alternative hours to be agreed).

28 days' holiday including Bank Holidays (pro-rata).
Government Workplace Pension.
