Quality Improvement and Compliance Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, motivated and positive individual to join the Quality Improvement and Compliance team.

You will work closely with the Head of Quality improvement and safeguarding and patient safety specialists to support a governance programme to include quality of patient care, safety and experience.

You will support a variety of specialist services on a range of governance and quality matters. The role will involve closely working with senior clinical leaders to ensure they manage their clinical governance activities effectively.

This includes reviewing incidents, risks, identifying trends and themes within services, supporting patient safety investigations and ensuring services are prepared for external regulatory inspections.


You will have a knowledge and experience in Risk Management systems and processes for managing and reporting incidents and investigation, You will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to present reports and data to senior management both verbally and in writing.

You will need to be able to analyse and clearly present complex data.


You will be expected to work closely with corporate, operational and clinical colleagues, to ensure that standards are embedded into practice.
