Our Team covers the locality of North Warwickshire. We have two bases, one in Rugby & one in Nuneaton and we work across both bases.
We are looking for enthusiastic people with a psychology degree and/or experience of working as a support worker, psychological assistant in mental health.
This includes people with emotion regulation difficulties, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, OCD symptoms, and eating disorders which do not meet the threshold for the eating disorder service.
Working for our Team offers you the opportunity to develop some excellent specialist skills and take part in imaginative and effective interventions.
Time is spent investing in your development and there are lots of opportunities to shadow colleagues on duty, during assessments and on visits when you first join us.
There are a lot of training opportunities within the team and time is given to allow you to access this.
This will allow you to confidently undertake the role of delivering treatment and interventions to your patients and working alongside the qualified staff.
The nature of the team means that you bring your knowledge, experience, enthusiasm, and empathy and are exposed to the knowledge and skills of other colleagues within the team which promotes growth and development within your own practice.
We are a team that recognises the work we do can be difficult at times and we have a strong supportive approach- both in professional matters and passing on good practice, learning and sharing risk but also when it impacts on us personally. You will have access to Managerial, clinical and peer supervision and we are a supportive team.
We are looking for staff with a passion for working with people with complex and significant mental health problems. We see this as an ideal opportunity to further develop specialist skills.
It is important you have good communication skills and can work on your own initiative as well as collaboratively with colleagues.
A willingness and enthusiasm to learn new skills and develop your practice is vital.This team provides interventions on a one to one basis and group formats.
You will have the opportunity to participate and run groups and you will be given training within the team for this.
