Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be given the opportunity to take ownership of a number of the Transactional finance processes.
The opportunity:
- Ownership of the daily treasury matters including daily bank reconciliations, cashflow reporting and processing payments/transfers.
- Maintaining the supplier ledger posting invoices, BACS payment processing, reconciliations and dealing with supplier queries.
- Ownership of both central mailboxes and accounts phone, to ensure all matters are resolved, both to the required manner and timely.
- Processing expenses and the preparation and posting of monthly credit card transaction reports and obtaining copy invoices from the business.
- Involvement in month end preparation, which depending on experience may include analysis of operating costs and posting monthly journals.
- Assisting the Management Accountants in various items, including sales analysis / reconciliations and month end balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ad hoc support to the wider finance team
- Previous experience in an allround transactional finance role
- Salesforce and Sage experience would be advantageous but not essential.
- Organised and proven ability to effectively managed your own workload.
