Our Claims Technicians provide a top-notch service to our customers, ensuring inquiries are handled promptly through various channels, mainly via phone. Working in our Claims Operations team means diving into a variety of tasks, boosting your expertise in claims management, regulations governing the process, our product line, and overall business operations.

This position offers the chance to collaborate closely with different business sectors like Counter-Fraud, Personal Injury, Total Loss, and more. If you thrive on juggling multiple responsibilities, excel at building and nurturing relationships, and find satisfaction in assisting others, this role is right up your alley.

The work hub for this position is in Swansea. Currently, we are experimenting with different combinations of remote and in-office work to determine the most effective work setup going forward. During this trial period, this role is primarily office-based, typically requiring three office days and two remote workdays.

Key responsibilities:

  • Addressing policyholder inquiries and communications professionally
  • Providing support and reassurance to customers throughout the claims process
  • Determining claim circumstances and conducting necessary investigations for a clear understanding
  • Negotiating claim settlements efficiently and economically
  • Promoting and ensuring the use of our approved supply chain for vehicle repairs
  • Recovering Underwriters' expenses or resolving third-party claims
  • Gaining expertise in our products and services
  • Serving as a vital link between the company and customers, providing regular updates on the process
