Nhs Entitlement and Private Patient Administrator

We are recruiting for a NHS Entitlement and Private Patient Administrator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
You will be a contact within the Private Patient and NHS Entitlement Team for staff and patient's enquiries and advise on charging queries and policy interpretations.

Be responsible for the management of daily referrals to the Private Patients and NHS Entitlement teams.
Investigate eligibility to access NHS treatment without charge taking appropriate action where necessary. Ensure that any non-urgent treatment requested is paid for in advance of any treatment received.
Work and support all Divisions in the implementation of income generating schemes.
Work unsupervised and act independently to manage own workload, referring to Line Manager when necessary.
Work with Consultants, their secretaries and Private Health Insurance companies to ensure robust communication with accurate quoting around pricing, clinical conditions/ diagnostic tests and patient individual policy terms and or restrictions.
Maintain electronic and paper administration systems.
Recept any private ad hoc clinics when required at the Trust.
