Oliver James has partnered with a well-established consultancy in search of a skilled pensions professional to join their Pension Scheme Wind-Up team across one of their 4 offices.
With a growing number of pension schemes aiming to de-risk, this consultancy is looking to strengthen their wind-up team with a technically savvy professional. The role involves managing projects and providing support on strategic and technical aspects of scheme wind-ups. You will work closely with Trustee Boards and Supporting Employers of UK DB pension schemes, comparing scheme factors, conducting wind-up lump sum exercises, contributing to funding reserves, and generating surplus balance sheets.
Role Requirements:
- FIA/PMI part/qualified preferred
- Technically proficient in pensions with a background in actuarial, pensions administration, or project/scheme management
- Consultancy experience with solid knowledge of UK defined benefit pensions
