This is what you'll be doing.
As a Legal Assistant in the Property Team you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Opening and closing files efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to procedures.
  • Managing administrative requirements for property files, including updating correspondence and key documents both electronically and in hard copy.
  • Conducting AML searches and maintaining compliance documents to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Placing property searches on behalf of fee earners, collating relevant information and documentation.
  • Handling phone calls to clients, solicitors, Land Registry, and other parties involved in property transactions.

This is what you'll bring to the team

  • Strong organisational and communication skills, enabling you to handle multiple tasks and effectively liaise with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and case management systems to manage documentation and data accurately.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, supporting both junior and senior team members.
  • Previous experience working in a law firm would be advantageous, but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
