We are working with a fantastic international media owner to find them a new Head of Agency.

In this role you will be leading a team and ensuring their commercial success through strategic thinking and experienced leadership.

As the leader of your agency patch, you'll align its growth with the overall commercial strategy.

Collaborating with Agency Heads and the Head of Sales, you'll ensure full implementation of agency plans to drive revenue and direction.

Your focus will be on managing your team to excel both internally and externally, in order to perform to as high a level as possible.


What will this role include?nDrive revenue growth by expanding our commercial share and diversifying revenue streams.nLead one of the company's largest agency patches, serving as the external face of the company.nPartner with the podcast team to create a clear strategy and foster strong relationships, enhancing the company's competitiveness and revenue opportunities.nEnsure your team embodies the culture and values, driving high performance internally and externally and supporting career development.nMaintain market engagement by facilitating trading with agencies, trading groups, and clients, and representing the company at industry events.nFocus on digital customer acquisition, redirecting revenue from other digital platforms to their digital audio offerings without cannibalizing broadcast revenue.


The ideal candidate will have/be:

nProven track record in managing senior agency relationships.nExperience leading and developing high-performing sales teams.nStrong collaboration skills, working seamlessly with commercial and wider teams.nDemonstrated leadership as a senior member of the commercial team.nUnderstanding of the UK podcast landscape.nAbility to strategize for long-term revenue generation and product diversification.nDigital expertise, including knowledge of the advertising ecosystem and positioning data-led propositions in the marketplace.
