Band - Health Care Support Worker - RAH In patient Theatres

Are you looking to join a friendly, dynamic team?


This is an exciting opportunity where we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker to join our team within the In patient theatre unit at RAH.

This unit exists of nine theatres, a reception area and a recovery room.

Specialties include general surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, ENT and cross site working at the QEUH theatre for the Clyde Robotic lists.


As part of the multidisciplinary team, the Post Holder will provide care to patients before, during and after surgical procedures in support of the trained nurse.

You will be required to perform physical, technical and emotional aspects of patient care in an efficient, effective and responsible manner, in a busy acute environment.

Previous experience of working within a hospital environment is an advantage, however not essential as training and support will be given.
