Goods In/out Store Keeper

A long established electronic manufacturing company based on the edge of Maidstone town centre is looking for a new storekeeper.


The main aspects of the roll are receiving incoming goods (mainly electronic components) and putting them into stores, as well as packing/dispatching our finished products.


Incoming deliveries from our suppliers need to be checked against the suppliers delivery note, receive them on our computer based stock system and then place them in the correct box in our stores.


Outgoing dispatches require careful, final, once over checking of the equipment to be dispatched (looking for blemishes or scratches etc) before carefully packing the items in their dispatch cartons and checking all items are being dispatched as per paperwork/ computer system.

Despatches are booked electronically via the online DHL system and exports require custom paperwork to be submitted.


We hold many thousands of electrical components in stock and ongoing organising and tidying of the stores to keep them in good tidy order and making sure items are easily located is an important part of the role.

A meticulous mind and good memory would be very helpful.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday 08.30 to 12.30 and 13.00 to 17.00

Pay:
£23,950.00 per year
