We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor searching for an exciting opportunity in the power sector. Projects are spread across Scotland, with locations such as Peterhead, Beauly, Dounreay, Crossaig, and Glasgow.

You could initially be based at the head office on the outskirts of Glasgow, but later on, you might need to visit various project sites, so being open to travel is essential for this role.

However, in return, you'll gain exposure to some of Scotland's major civil engineering projects and the chance to advance your career by learning from experienced commercial professionals in the industry.

  • Manage the commercial aspects of projects within the power sector, ensuring cost control and adherence to budgets.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide accurate cost forecasts, financial reports, and procurement strategies.
  • Conduct thorough cost analysis, pinpointing opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
  • Administer contracts and handle subcontractor relationships efficiently.
  • Offer expert advice on contractual matters, resolving disputes, and mitigating risks.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or power industry.
  • Strong grasp of construction contracts and procurement processes.
