Online Surveyor

Northern Marine Manning Services are currently looking to recruit an experienced Online Surveyor for our client in the Renewable Energy Sector

As an Online Surveyor you will be responsible for survey and positioning activities, including acquisition and quality control of data onboard survey vessels.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate online survey software and monitor the data quality to ensure the survey specification is achieved.
- Prepare reports including mobilisation and calibration reports.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate vessel survey folders, comprehensive handover notes and surveying logs during any watch periods.
- Maintain effective communication with the offshore and onshore team.
- Ensure integrity and functionality of survey spread is maintained throughout the project. Promote the enforcement of the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality policy to Employees, Contractors, and other stakeholders
- Assist in operating and developing the Company´s Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with the ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
- Deliver active management of safety and environmental compliance at Company sites and assets in collaboration with the QHSE Department
- Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by their line manager
- Experience, Competency and Skill Requirements:
- BSc / HND or equivalent in relevant survey related discipline OR equivalent vocational qualifications and experience.
- 1-3 year’s experience
- Proficient in the use of commonly used survey acquisition software and equipment
- Sound understanding of the principles of real-time positioning, data acquisition and data quality control
- An excellent communicator.
