Community Care Assistant

Apollo Care Southport are looking for caring people to provide personal care and practical support to service users in their own homes.

This could include tasks such as bathing, medication support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, whilst observing safe working practices and ensuring the privacy, personal choice and dignity of the service user in a least intrusive way.

To promote and adhere to Apollo care values of Caring, Supporting, Empowering and Inspiring in everything that you do.


As a carer you must be sensitive and responsive to protected characteristics ie race, culture, religion, disability, gender and sexuality of the service users receiving care and their representatives.

Carers must carry out their job with the assistance of the service user not for the service user. This is an essential part of encouraging independence, motivation and empowerment.

Carers must at all times adhere to the confidentiality policy.

Drivers with access to own vehicle for work is essential.
Previous care experience is preferred but not essential.

We pay £11.00 per hour and we pay by shift not per call and also pay mileage.

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
