Overview


The Salesforce Solution Consultant provides proactive and reactive implementation and architectural direction to enable us to grow our Salesforce capability.

You will understand key business processes and articulate business needs through a prioritised roadmap, mapping these to Salesforce solution features and driving implementation of these solutions.

You'll need to have a collaborative and consultative workstyle and demonstrate proven ability to engage with executives to drive alignment and agreemen.t As a Salesforce Solution Consultant is a hands-on role.

You will work closely with colleagues across the business to understand business drivers to determine the activities and capabilities required to enable our growth plans and help transform our business.

Acting as a Salesforce subject matter expert you will define and drive projects that help increase product value, adoption, and minimize disruption to existing business operations.

The Role

Responsibilities:

nDeveloping platform strategies including Salesforce roadmaps, architectural standards, operational and compliance models.nEnsuring both business strategy and technological direction are aligned.nModelling and analysing end to end business processes that sit in and around Salesforce to identify solutions that drive business value.nAssess feasibility of ideas and impact of downstream processes, systems, and reporting.nUnderstanding business and technical requirements and translating these into Salesforce platform capabilities and solutions.nRecommending best practice approaches that challenge the status quo and ensure that all component parts fit together and realise the value of the salesforce platform.nDevelopment, test, implementation and training of robust Salesforce solutions and related servicesnEnsure security is built into any development.nWorking with and providing knowledge transfer of new developments to the Salesforce LeadnProviding leadership and mentorship where needed.


Competencies:

nProven track record of driving the direction of a Salesforce platform from strategic thought leadership to hands on delivery.nAble to demonstrate project experience involving Salesforce and ensuring connecting applications and processes are adapted in line with change.nProficient technical knowledge of Salesforce Core products and features, capabilities, best use and how to design, develop and deploy, including knowledge how to integrate the Salesforce platform and ecosystem.nExperience of implementing Sales Engagement, Account Engagement and CPQ.nExperience of driving user adoption in the tool through enhancements, awareness and training.nBaseline knowledge of key platform elements such as Mulesoft, Tableau and Certinia.nConsultative and customer focused approach and engagement style.nProven track record to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level.nCompetence both for analysing technical concepts and translating them into business terms, and for mapping business requirements to technical features.

nSalesforce certifications for Core products such as

Salesforce Certified Administrator , and optionally

Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant ,

Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant , Salesforce AI Associate, Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Application Architect.

Skills:

nAn excellent troubleshooting mentality with the ability to visualise a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.nArticulate in both verbal and written communication (to both technical and non-technical audiences), including the ability to produce clear documentation.nProfessional/flexible approach to work; ensuring punctuality, tidiness, and diligence with the aim to provide the customer with the best possible service.nAbility to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.nFlexible with the ability to change priorities quickly and the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment.nAbility to multitask, handle complex problems and conflicting messages to gain consensus.nProactive approach to problem solving and service improvement.nAnalytical thinking and problem solving.nBeing detailed oriented whilst looking at the bigger picture and ensuring fit for purpose deliverables.
