37.5 hours per week. The complex needs team are looking to recruit a senior mental health Practitioner to join their expanding team. This is an opportunity to become part of a developing service, working with people who experience co-existing mental health and substance use. The complex needs team is a multidisciplinary team, made up of Mental health nurse, social workers, doctors, support workers and senior drug workers, working across the Plymouth Alliance in a number of settings such as homeless hostels, VCSE partners and clients homes.

The post holder will carry a small caseload of clients supporting to access services such as detox, rehabilitation, and working with clients to deliver harm reduction work, Motivational interviewing work and goal setting. The team has regular group supervision, adn CPD with regualr access to in house training. Main duties of the job The post holder will Carry a caseload of clients with co-existing mental health and substance misuse issues. Provision of case load supervision for Band 5 mental health practitioners and line management. To contribute to professional development, appraisal, performance review and recruitment. The post holder will attend and lead community drop in clinics in the homeless provisions across the city. Be responsible for the management of caseloads. Carry out reviews of caseloads and support the process of recovery. The post-holder will take part in the clinical audit. This will include annual CPA and Health Records audits.   • Registration with NMC for RMN/ LD Nurse.
  • Occupational Therapy Degree HCPC Registration.
