The Opportunity
QBE's renowned and growing Multinational Client Centre in Chelmsford presents an exciting role as a Multinational Client Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. This position plays a vital part in the European Operations (EO) business, overseeing a team of Case Handlers to provide essential multinational servicing and coordinate programs throughout their lifecycle - policy administration, claims, risk engineering, and cashflow management. Collaborating with underwriting teams and Global Network offices is a key aspect of this role.

Your New Role
  • Develop awareness of Multinational's global business plan and contribute to multinational business plan results as needed.
  • Coordinate and support all aspects of account servicing from creation to cash management.
  • Follow established controls, standards, and procedures to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide guidance on compliance, regulatory, and tax matters.
  • Collaborate closely with Underwriters and Brokers to streamline Multinational Client Centre (MCC) servicing.
  • Act as a facilitator and coordinator.
  • Monitor and manage servicing levels according to performance standards.
  • Supervise a team of Case Handlers for efficient service delivery.
  • Offer training and guidance to Case Handlers to enhance team capabilities and knowledge.
  • Oversee PMP forms, development plans, and annual appraisals to track progress against objectives.
About You
  • Ability to manage a team in a flexible, creative, problem-solving environment.
  • Strong Relationship Management skills to nurture internal and external relationships.Experience in working with established processes and driving process enhancements.
  • Demonstrable experience in a global environment with diverse cultural demands.
  • Background in insurance within an underwriting/broking setting is preferred.
  • Prior experience in managing teams based on stringent service levels in complex environments is preferred.
