About the role


As Head of Trusts and Corporates you will contribute significantly to the growth of a long-term and internationally competitive, sustainable programme for our Trusts and Corporates.

The Head of Trusts and Corporates will focus on:

  • working on the development of a fundraising strategy for grant-making Trusts and Foundations, corporate partners, and statutory bodies for projects of strategic importance.
- identifying major prospects and the pursuit of these, with a view to raise considerable financial support, working to agreed targets.
- working closely with senior colleagues and high-level volunteers to implement the strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Development Director and with direct line reports to redevelop ENB's Trusts and Corporate strategy based on the review and findings.
  • Develop and manage ENB's Trusts and Foundations programmes, devising and implementing strategies to grow the programmes and to improve retention working to agreed goals and targets.
  • Research, develop, and implement a meaningful strategy to ensure the careful and equitable stewardship of all ENB partners.
  • Manage and develop a personal portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects who have the potential to make a significant financial contribution.
  • Work collaboratively and consultatively with senior management and all internal and external stakeholders to develop and steward key relationships.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in organisations to solicit significant support for the ENB to meet ambitious personal and team targets.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Experience of working with both trusts and corporates in a fundraising environment, with a track record of securing six
- and seven-figure support.

  • Experience and a successful track record of securing substantial sponsorship and funding from the corporate sector, charitable bodies, and private sector/public sector organisations.
  • Track record of growth in responsibility to a senior level in Development in the performing arts, cultural, higher education sectors or in a related field in the UK.
  • Experience of working with senior management and corporate partners and ability to engage them.
  • Ability to manage, coach and develop direct reports, offering clear guidance and supporting learning pathways to acquire new skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to manage a fundraising programme with multiple deliverables and deadlines.
  • Ability to work to and support a culture of continuous improvement.
