Meet our service user

Our service user is a happy and curious little boy who lives with his loving family in Bromyard. You will be required to provide support and companionship with his complex care needs, on a 1:1 basis throughout the night.

He enjoys playing with interactive toys, especially his musical toys and watching his favourite TV programme 'Hey Duggee'. He is a very sociable boy who loves interacting with others, reading his favourite books and having cuddles, especially when he's feeling tired.

Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care, moving and handling, making close observations, and attending to his clinical care needs when required. You will provide a peaceful environment to promote a restful night's sleep offering reassurance and comfort when needed.

We are looking for staff who are comfortable around animals as our service user does live on a farm and has two pet dogs within his home.

It is essential that you have a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle as our service user lives in a rural location

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following:

3 months care experience Medication Administration Personal Care Moving and Handling Valid Driving Licence and Access to Own Vehicle

Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role:

Tracheostomy Care PEG Feeding Respiratory Awareness

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

We have the following shifts available

Full Time & Part Time Nights: 10:00pm – 8:30am Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays Available

Take a look at our pay rates

Weeknights: £15.00 per hour (£157.50 approx. per 10.5-hour shift)

Sundays: £17.00 per hour (£178.50 approx. per 10.5-hour shift

Bank Holidays: £17.00 per hour (£178.50 approx. per 10.5-hour shift)
