As a Barclays Data Analytics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a variety of technical teams ensuring delivery of service excellence to all Management, Stakeholders, Regulators and Legal Authorities through the solid leadership and performance management of a team within a highly regulated and audited function.

You will also support all staff within the area embracing all challenges, self-motivating and driving performance within Financial Crime Screening.

Communicating the performance development planning process for your people, agreeing challenging performance objectives and measures.
Promoting training of new and existing colleagues to upskill and invest
Being responsible for challenging sickness and timekeeping, ensuring attendance levels and ineffective behaviours are immediately addressed
Taking responsibility for supporting operational leads in ensuring compliance to all team objectives and controls
Driving effective working partnership with colleagues across Financial Crime Screening, Compliance and all key stakeholders
Identifying and implement opportunities to improve quality and error rates
Monitoring current work position in order to meet demanding deadlines and Service Level Agreements
Ability to develop and contribute to short-term and long-term plans that outline the practical steps needed to meet the bank's objectives and strategy
Proficient with IT and PC systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Skills that will help you in the role
General understanding of Financial Crime Screening processes and regulatory requirements

The Bournemouth Wealth Office is located between Bournemouth and Poole with Sandbanks beach no more than 500 metres from the front door.
