Pettigrew Recruitment Group is delighted to be working alongside this luxury clothing specialist as they look to appoint an Accounts Assistant to support them as they grow. This is a key, fast-paced role and requires someone highly organised and capable of managing the flow of invoices through the business.

Reporting to the Director, duties of the role will include:

  • Processing of all invoices through the business and raising of purchase orders.
  • Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed customer records and creating new customer accounts.
  • Answering client and supplier queries and building a good rapport playing a key role in providing relevant accounts information when required.
  • Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Collecting monthly direct debits and making payments.
  • Preparing and entering journals into the recording system.
  • Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties.

To be shortlisted we are looking for the following skills:

  • Sage accounting experience is essential to hit the ground running.
  • Professional approach to work.
  • A drivers licence is required.

This will be a part-time role with the hours still to be negotiated but it is expected that they will be spread across Monday - Thursday, 4 hours per day to suit.
