We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Accountant to join our growing Tax team at SSE Enterprise. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our company's strategy, including our ambitious Net Zero Acceleration Programme.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with corporate tax compliance for the SSE Group.
- Provide corporate tax accounting and reporting services.
- Advise the wider Finance Teams and business on tax-related issues.
- Assist in the implementation of tax technology solutions and process improvement to streamline and improve tax compliance.
- Support on a range of tax advisory projects and M&A transactions.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A Chartered Tax Advisor qualification or an accounting qualification (CA/ACCA).
- Extensive professional experience in a leading accounting firm and/or in-house tax department, primarily on direct taxes.
- Experience of using AlphaTax or OneSource for corporate tax compliance and accounting.
