Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to join our team at Route 74 Glasgow.
Duties will include:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the facility
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, investigate disturbances, and take appropriate actions
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate locations
- Enforce access control procedures by checking identification, verifying credentials, and granting or denying access as necessary
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and systems to ensure they are in proper working order
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies or emergency services when required
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or related role is preferred
- Strong observation skills with the ability to identify potential security risks or threats
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, CCTV monitoring, and access control systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Salary:
£11.95 per hour
Expected hours: 48 per week
