The role will be supporting and attending to the Smartroom's on-site and remotely, supporting teams in support locations performing a variety of proactive tasks which will help maximise customer's up-time, perform root-cause analysis and prevent reoccurring issues.

Provide day to day support for Smartroom's on site at the support centre and via remote for other sites.
Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, network issues.
Collaborating and communicating with vendors to resolve complex or urgent issues.
Providing training and guidance to users on how to use the systems and tools effectively and securely.
Handling other ad hoc IT requests.

first-rate interpersonal, communication and customer service skills, a must to build and maintain relationships with end-users at all levels.
first-rate knowledge and experience in smart room support and audio/visual IT equipment, installations, integrating and configuring systems.

to setup and configure collaboration devices and an understanding of related hardware like TV displays, Surface Hubs and all associated cables and connectors.

ad-hoc AV support for meetings, conferences, townhalls and any other large VIP events – on rare occasions outside of 8-5 hours.

to triage and troubleshoot above said hardware and software, often under demanding time constraints, performing diagnostics and root cause analysis.

Co-ordinate with external vendors for support as appropriate and managed end to end resolution.
working in a commercial IT Support environment - preferably within a Managed Service Provider.
Remote and onsite support experience, ticket management, experience working in an ITIL environment.
Office 365 services – experience in all aspects of Microsoft 365 migration and implementation.
Intune– including Device Management, Conditional Access Policies and Autopilot.
SharePoint Online and Microsoft Azure administration.
Interest and exposure to security (Firewalls, Windows security – server and workstation).
