About the role

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a
HSE Coordinator to join our Integrated Track Team (ITT Rail) in
London.


ITT is a collaborative partnership between Transport for London (TfL) and Balfour Beatty working to replace life-expired track assets across the London Underground network.

The role will be based at our Stratford and / or Ruislip depots.

What you'll be doing

  • Partner the HSE Project Partner to ensure the project is compliant with the health, safety, environmental and sustainability requirements of the UK Business Management System (BMS).
  • Support and promote delivery of UK and Group Zero Harm Action Plans.
  • Support the HSE Project Partner a in achieving Zero Harm objectives and the sustainability building new futures.
  • Drive performance of the HSES team ensuring efficient and effective service and support levels to meet and exceed operational requirements.
  • Collaboratively engage with both internal & external Customers including the Supply Chain.
  • Assist in creating a culture where health is treated like safety.
  • Challenge the norm by innovating and improving the way we work, whilst keeping pace with industry change and promote successes.

Who we're looking for

  • Proactive and a flexible approach with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Previous HSES Administrative / Coordination experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability issues.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation, time management and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional integrity.
