This Fabricator role is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm, offering a salary up to £29,120 per annum dependent of experience.

As Fabricator you will work within a team of 5 Fabricators and Welders in the workshop and will report into the Production Manager with the following responsibilities:
Reading and working to engineering drawings
Fabricating and MIG welding mild steel structures for playground equipment or shelters
Setting and operating machinery such as bandsaw, pedestal drills and iron worker
A Driver's license will be required as occasional site visits will be required. All transport tools and expenses will be paid.
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
A time served Fabricator
Knowledge of BSEN1090 standards
Experience of MIG Welding
Ability to read and work to engineering drawings
Experience operating fabrication machinery such a presses, saws and drills
A high standard of safety awareness
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Ability to meet production targets allocating resources effectively ensuring products meet required standards
Some experience of playground equipment & steel structures is preferable but not essential
