Position: Production Welder/Fabricator
Ask Recruiting Limited is presenting a remarkable opportunity for a Production Welder/Fabricator to become part of a well-respected manufacturing organization.
As a key player in our manufacturing operations, we are in search of a seasoned Metals Fabricator to support our growing business needs and production requirements.
In this role, you will be tasked with the cutting and assembly of metal components at our facility.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in MIG welding and various fabrication techniques. You should be capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively within a larger team when necessary.
A valid driver's license is essential as occasional site visits may be part of the role.
All transportation tools and expenses will be covered by the company.
Daily travel to the workplace is expected for this position.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a welding and fabrication workshop
- Familiarity with standard workshop machinery (e.g., Bandsaw, Pedestal drill, iron worker)
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- High safety awareness
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Capacity to meet production targets while effectively managing resources to ensure quality standards
- Experience with playground equipment and steel structures is advantageous
Compensation: Starting at £14 per hour
