Job Title: Building and Fabric Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building and Fabric Engineer to join our team at Kingdom People. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and smooth operation of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs to electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Ensure the design, installation, and verification of electrical systems in compliance with the 18th Edition standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections and repairs to the fabric of buildings, including carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance work.
  • Operate and maintain MWEP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) equipment, ensuring safe and efficient usage.
  • Support the overall facility by addressing any reactive maintenance issues quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain an accurate log of maintenance activities and report any potential risks or repairs needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the safe and efficient running of the facility.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification.
  • 18th Edition Certification in the design, installation, and verification of electrical systems.
  • Current MWEP Certification (Mobile Elevated Work Platform).
  • Proven experience as a Building and Fabric Engineer with a strong background in electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Demonstrated ability in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of building systems.
  • Competence in general building repair, including repairs to the fabric of buildings.
  • Possess a valid IOSH certification (desirable, but not essential).
  • Own transport is required for this position due to the location of the site.
