As a Technical Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating electronic technical documentation such as Field Information Bulletins and Technical Information Bulletins.
  • Providing technical assistance on machine issues to customers and Field Service Engineers.
  • Conducting training sessions on GGS/OEM products for various audiences.
  • Offering technical support via telephone and Remote Device Management.
  • Updating the technical library of GGS products and serving as a technical escalation point.
  • Provisioning diagnostic software and preparing performance reports.
  • Analysing product maintenance and reducing service call rates.
  • Designing diagnostic scripts and collaborating with engineering and solution groups.

Requirements for Technical Support Specialist role:

  • Experience with Wide Area and Local Area Networks.
  • Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems.
  • Computer and database skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Keen on staying updated on industry trends and advancements.
  • Background in creating training material and implementing training plans.

Desirable qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting electro-mechanical hardware and software.
  • Degree or certification in electro-mechanical engineering or related field.
