The Research Excellence team is located in the Office for Postgraduates, Research and Engagement (OPRE) which provides holistic support for the development and implementation of the University of East London's research, knowledge exchange and engagement strategies and activities.
This includes providing support for research bid development, liaison with funders and post award delivery, initiatives to foster collaboration across the university, the facilitation of public and community engagement and provision of support for impact activities and tracking.
We are seeking an experienced leader to develop and deliver the University of East London's Research Excellence Framework (REF) strategy and submission and play a pivotal role in the development of a strategic plan which addresses the next phase of our flourishing research environment.
You will bring experience of providing expert knowledge and guidance regarding the Research Excellence Framework requirements, strategies for driving quality outputs and impact and the UK's research policy environment.
Applications should consist of a covering letter, full CV detailing academic and professional qualifications, employment history, latest remuneration and relevant achievements.
