We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Centre for Target Validation as the Head of Biology and Director.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in cancer biology and leadership experience in drug discovery within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of researchers in the development of novel cancer therapies
- Collaborate with industry partners to advance cancer drug discovery
- Develop and implement strategies for the validation of cancer targets
- Manage and mentor a team of researchers to achieve project goals
The ideal candidate will have:
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g. cancer biology, biochemistry, pharmacology)
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in drug discovery
- Strong publication record in cancer biology and drug discovery
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
