New Job Opportunity: Mental Health Support Workers Looking for a support worker to join our team at Select Support +. Select Support + is a CQC registered Somerset care provider specializing in Learning disabilities and Mental Health. We are an established small family-run care provider who takes great pride in providing person-centered care and recognizes staff efforts. We are looking to add support workers to our team to support a young lady with Mental health and anxiety disorders, aged between 18 to 21. She enjoys music, arts and crafts, bowling, day trips, cooking, etc. Support Needed With:
  • Verbal prompting and encouragement with personal care.
  • Physical assistance with maintaining a clean and habitable home.
  • Company for all appointments and accessing the local community.
  • Physical assistance with meal prep and cooking.
  • Verbal encouragement to engage in activities.
  • Ensuring safety.
  • Confidence boosting and guidance with life skills.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Friendly, reliable, and motivated individual.
  • Minimum three years of experience in Mental Health.
  • Minimum five years of Health and Social care experience.
  • Willingness to learn and commit to all training requirements.
  • Able to complete the two-week rolling rota.
  • Passionate about making a difference in somebody's life.
Options for Shifts:
  • Option 1: 3x 14-hour shifts a week (8am to 10pm) - Bridgwater support living based - £16.40 per hour.
  • Option 2: 2x 14-hour shifts a week (8am to 10pm) & 1x 6-hour shift a week 11am to 5pm - £15 per hour.
  • Option 3: 2x 14-hour shifts a week (8am to 10pm) & 1x 6-hour shift a week 11am to 5pm - £15.50 per hour.
