We have a number of vacancies to fill across the week for pro-active
Coordinators (First patient contact - GP Receptionist/hub workers) to support the wider care navigation team across the business.

As a Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering high quality healthcare services for all BVM patients.

The role is the primary point of contact for patients, acting as the main interface between our Practice and secondary & community care services.

You will work collaboratively with GPs and other clinical & non-clinical staff in managing the integrated care system at BVM.


The role also involves some reception duties, and involves receiving, assisting and directing patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, polite, efficient and effective way, projecting a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone, online appointment booking system and triaging them to the appropriate clinician using our EMIS system.


As part of the role you shall also provide general admin assistance to the Practice team in various day to day operations.

Previous experience of working in a GP surgery / customer care role will be an advantage.


We have 5 branch surgeries within south Bristol so the ability to work flexibly across all sites is essential as is the requirement to work the occasional evening &/or Saturday mornings.


Current shift times for part time vacancies are : Monday - Friday PM: 1:15 pm to 6:45 pm (minimum 3 afternoons per week).


You should demonstrate excellent customer service (both on the telephone and face to face) and problem solving skills, be resilient, a good communicator, IT proficient and great team worker.
