To drive our growth and evolve as a digital organisation we have a new opportunity for a dry-tech digital salesperson to contact and visit our customers virtually.
Sales experience is not required, but an interest in engineering, expertise working digitally, customer relations and problem-solving is required.These roles are new to igus as we predict that nothing will be the same in the future. By 2025, 80% of B2B sales interactions between suppliers and buyers will take place via digital channels. However, video calls and PowerPoint presentations alone will not be enough for this transformation. Digital tools will replicate the customer interactions of traditional forms of sales.
Responsibilities:
- Contacting customers digitally
- Analysing customer dashboards to identify which customers to contact
- Being proactive and searching for opportunities
- Using our CRM and ERP system to identify leads
- Finding engineering solutions to customer requirements digitally
- Showcasing our range of products virtually
- Using the igus showroom to virtually host customer meetings and demonstrations
Skills Required:
- Fully conversant with the creation and use of share point pages
- Proficient LinkedIn user
- An inquisitive and problemsolving approach
- An interest or experience in engineering (e.g., are you intrigued about the way things work?)
- Excellent communicator to build relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Ability to selfmanage your week while maintaining high productivity levels
