The Company


Quest Search & Selection are partnering with this consumer business comprising of over 40 units, including High Street & Destination sites.


The Role
The main purpose of this role involves processing and posting bank transactions and reconciling bank accounts.

The roles and responsibilities of this Finance Assistant role -

  • Processing bank payments on the Online banking system ensuring payment deadlines are achieved and all payments made accurately and on time
  • Download bank statements from the bank and import into the finance system
  • Posting bank transactions, manual payments, direct debits and receipts to the finance system
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Preparation and posting of exchange rate adjustments
  • Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts on the finance system
  • Any other duties as required

To be successful in thisFinance Assistant role -

  • Ideally 612 months + experience in an Accounts or Finance position
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to communicate key messages to stakeholders
  • Proactive with strong communication skills
  • Experienced user of spreadsheets and excel
