We support a variety of clients across the Commercial and Industrial sectors offering a comprehensive range of services including Joinery, Electrical, Gas, Plumbing & Heating, Roofing, Painting & Decorating, Civil & Environmental works, Cleaning & Caretaking Contracts, CCTV & Alarm Services, Fire and Safety Systems, Drainage, Clearance and Waste Services, Ground Maintenance.

We are looking for a Service Coordinator to join our team due to continuous growth in the business.


This role will be based in East Kilbride, working in a fast-paced office environment scheduling operatives and sub-contractors planned and reactive maintenance works.

You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service working closely with all members of the business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Being first point of contact to our customers on incoming phone calls.
  • Efficient time and geographical management of operatives' scheduling diary.
  • Raise quote requests and jobs on the SimPro CRM system, assign to an operative or subcontractor.
  • Proactively obtain updates from sub contractors on outstanding quotes or jobs
  • Keep customers updated and follow any customer enquiry through to conclusion.
  • Schedule planned maintenance service work to ensure customer sites and equipment remain compliant with current legislation
  • Build relationships with clients and subcontractors
  • Work towards and adhere to client SLA's and KPI's these relate to attendance to breakdowns, time to complete on jobs and communication levels to customers.
  • Confidently deal with customer questions or enquiries
  • Provide customers with all documentation, photos and reports following an operatives visit

Skills Required:

  • Good telephone manner with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisation, coordination, time management and problemsolving skills.
  • Geographical knowledge of the Greater Glasgow and Central Scotland areas would be beneficial
  • Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships, both internally and externally at all levels.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work in a busy office environment
  • Ability to respond effectively to changing priorities
  • Ability to manage high volume workload but remain focused
  • IT literate to a high standard.

Salary:
£22,000.00 per year

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
