Axel Arigato is offering a full-time position for a RTW Designer based in our creative design studio in Farringdon, London.
We seek an experienced designers with a unique perspective and an overall aesthetic that can balance between cool, luxurious and approachable and should have great technical knowledge of product design.
The RTW Designer will work closely with the Senior RTW Designer and Head of RTW Design in executing the overall design vision, translating concept sketches and ideas into technical CAD drawings and tech-packs as well as contributing with own ideas and designs across Mens- and Womenswear.
This role covers a wide assortment of seasonal and carry over products and is not limited to specific product categories. The role demands creativity, conceptual thinking, problem solving and a great technical knowledge in garment construction, fabric and trims. A keen eye in Graphics is also a plus.
We are a fast-growing category within the Axel Arigato brand, complementing the product offer around our iconic sneakers. Axel Arigato RTW stands for elevated classics, items that are unique, yet widely
understandable and wearable, always with a strong connection to youth culture and the music scene, establishing a more holistic and unique point of view season by season
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Beyond supporting the Senior RTW Designer and Head of RTW Design in daily tasks by translating design vision into technical drawings, you will also:
• Create technical product specs across product categories in Mens- and Womenswear
• Pro-actively shape the men's and women's collection with product design ideas, technical solutions, trend research, etc.
• Communicate ideas through illustrations and technical drawings
• Create consistency and brand identity together with Senior RTW Designer and Head of RTW Design
• Work collaborative with other departments, especially with the RTW product developers and the FTW designers
• Create collection overviews, contribute to seasonal themes, mood boards and research
ARE YOU THE ONE?
As our new designer you bring 3-5 years working experience in men's and/or women's RTW category. As a person you are organized, communicative and thrive working with our team. We see you with most of the following:
• Efficient in Adobe illustrator & Photoshop. Additional software skills, e.g. Clo3D is a plus
• Ability to clearly complete tech specs fast, detailed and consistent
• Have a strong sense of market trends
• Good sense for quality and experience with fabrics and high level of attention to detail

Our company language is English and as this role is in contact with external partners, English fluency is a requirement.
