Main Duties of the Job

  • Maintain high standards of patient care while respecting individuality, dignity, and privacy
  • Provide leadership for day-to-day operations and patient care
  • Complete operational tasks including health roster management, supervision, and staff appraisals
  • Ensure each patient receives a tailored clinical assessment and updated care plan
  • Communicate patient information promptly and accurately to their families and carers
  • Offer clinical guidance to staff, enhance knowledge through education, and drive service improvements
  • Regularly review the service to identify strengths and future development plans

Qualifications

  • Entry on the NMC register (Part 13) or HCPC Registered
  • Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse (Mental) or Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Experience in a qualified position with sufficient expertise to demonstrate leadership and management skills
