OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To drive staff, students and visitors to/fromlocal stations and provide general assistance to the SiteOperations Team.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

This role is for a morning driver to provideregular driving duties as timetabled. The successful candidate willhave a friendly and approachable manner and be willing to workflexibly to meet the needs of the School's schedule. In takingresponsibility for the Schools' vehicles, you will ensure theirgeneral upkeep and arrange regular servicing. Daily duties willinclude driving to/from local stations, chaperoning contractors,providing general porterage assistance and classroom/studio setup.

MAIN DUTIES PERSON SPECIFICATION

Driving:

  • Transportstaff, students and visitors to and from the School followingnecessary road safety laws and precautions Complete daily logsheets of journeys
  • Manage vehicles includinggeneral upkeep, cleaning, and arranging regular servicing

Site Support (where applicable):

  • Prepare classrooms and studiosaccording to timetable requirements
  • Beresponsible for unlocking the school in the morning
  • Chaperone contractors and guests when required
  • Assist with recycling and waste management
  • Provide assistance to the wider Operationsteams
  • Any other duties that may reasonably berequested by your Line Manager and that fall within the grade andscope of the post.
