As a school caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition of the school and ensuring that the facilities are safe and functional for students and staff.

This includes performing repairs and maintenance, managing the upkeep of thegrounds, and ensuring that the school is secure.

Requirements:

  • Experience in school caretaking
  • Available to work on an asneeded basis
  • Undergone necessary vetting procedures, including a mandatory Enhanced DBS check and ETW (Eligibility to Work) check in the UK
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the overall condition of the school
  • Performing repairs and maintenance
  • Managing the upkeep of the grounds
  • Ensuring that the school is secure
  • Following all health and safety guidelines to ensure the safety of all students and staff
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Adhering to school policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work in different schools and locations as required
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong attention to detail
