Are you a detail-oriented, organised professional with a passion for payroll? If so, we invite you to join our team as our Payroll Assistant/Administrator based in Redhill, Surrey on a
3-month fixed term contract.


As a Payroll Assistant/Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting our payroll department in the accurate and timely processing of all payroll-related tasks.

Your keen attention to detail and strong organisational skills will be instrumental in ensuring our employees are compensated correctly and on time.


What benefits can you expect?

  • Salary £25k per annum. Hybrid working.

Main responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to employee enquiries that come into the shared inbox and provide assistance as needed.
  • Maintaining spreadsheets and documentation relating to sickness/unpaid leave, New Starters, Leavers, and contract changes/adjustments and updating payroll systems accordingly.
  • Resolving payrollrelated enquiries.
  • Liaise with internal departments to gather and reconcile payroll data.
  • Collaborating with HR and finance teams.
  • Create and run reports from our employee system (Bamboo) on a weekly basis and cross reference any contract changes to ensure all is accurate.
  • Staying up to date with payroll regulations and best practices.

To be considered as a Payroll Administrator, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a payroll administrator or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office suite & Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical calculations.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated, reliable and enthusiastic.
  • Confident communicator.
  • Flexible with a "Can do and will do" attitude.
