Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Recognised apprenticeship/industry qualification in Electrical Installation or Maintenance such as City & Guilds Level 3
  • Up to date 18th edition I.E.E. wiring regulations
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician, preferably within an industrial or commercial facilities management organization
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits & schematics
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in electrical maintenance
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration and maintenance reporting
  • A valid & full UK Driving Licence is essential

Day to Day Duties:
  • Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM), inspections, and troubleshooting on electrical equipment and machinery
  • Identify and repair reactive electrical faults to minimize downtime
  • Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, including lighting and power distribution
  • Collaborate with maintenance team members to handle electrical and mechanical issues
  • Assist in developing maintenance plans and procedures to enhance system performance and safety
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated with industry trends and best practices
