The Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a School Administrator and Attendance Assistant to join our friendly, hard-working Administration Team.

You will need strong interpersonal skills to help coordinate school events and develop relationships with both internal and external stakeholders including parents.

This role will suit a highly motivated, organised individual with an understanding of policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, health & safety, confidentiality and data protection.


Main Areas of Responsibility:

Within this role you will be responsible for:

  • Running the school office and reception desk
  • Maintaining and updating the SIMS database
  • Recording attendance and following up on absences
  • Meeting and greeting school visitors
  • Answering the telephone and directing calls accordingly
  • Preparing weekly newsletter
  • Dealing with admissions queries
  • Managing the school calendar
  • Dealing with general enquiries from students, staff, parents and members of the public
  • Ordering stationery
  • Any other ad hoc admin duties


To be considered for this position, you will have previous school and SIMs experience, excellent customer service and IT skills with outstanding written and spoken English.
