This opportunity will offer full autonomy in the role to build and develop your team, searching for and implementing efficiency, developing better ways of working, to further improve the overall customer experience.


The successful candidate will be able to coordinate a fleet of 7 vehicles (3.5t maxi vans) and ensure and maintain compliance in all aspects of the Transport legislation including EU and UK domestic rules.

You must have good communication skills, basic Health and Safety knowledge and be able to manage a team efficiently.

40 hrs per week - Monday to Friday 0600am to 1800pm

Key Responsibilities:
nTo advise/ teach staff on safe and proper operating procedures, relevant checks, promoting best practice.nMaintain accurate staff and vehicle recordsnTo assess and directly support the Warehouse operationnEnsure that all fleet and driver records are compliant with all aspects of DVSAnPeople management, such as performance reviews, staff development, disciplinary and grievance handling

Skills & Experience 'Required:
nManagement CPC / OLAT qualification is desired but


not essentialnLogistics operations and managementnBe able to demonstrate ability to cope in challenging situationnStrong attention to detail.nYou may have previous experience of working as site manager, shift manager or team managernExperience of managing or working in a warehouse or distribution environment.nEffective communication skills and proven ability to motivate and manage a team of people.nIT literate with knowledge of WMS systems.nResponsibility for P&LnAble to cope with change and manage own workload and priorities.

nKnowledge of relevant H&S, HR legislation and good practice
