Plan International UK is a global children's charity striving for an equal world. One where every child can reach their full potential and every girl can choose her own future.

We bring people together to protect children's rights and keep girls safe, in school and in control of their bodies - even when disaster strikes.

And we won't stop until we are all equal.

Are you ready to take a leading role in growing Plan International UK's support to humanitarian crises globally? Are you driven to achieve results and prepared to hold yourself accountable to add value to our Humanitarian Unit? If so, we need you

We have an exciting opportunity for an Education in Emergencies Advisor (EiE) to join our Humanitarian team.

As an Education in Emergencies (EiE) Advisor, you will support our country offices' response to specific humanitarian crises by designing and managing effective, gender-responsive and inclusive programmes and building capacity.

You will also be responsible for developing and driving Plan International UK's strategic direction in the EiE sector in order to ensure an increased portfolio of quality EiE programming.

In this role you will support the scale up of our Humanitarian work by ensuring effective programme design and implementation in collaboration with the unit and colleagues globally.

We are looking for a confident individual who possesses solid, relevant specialist experience working in a range of humanitarian crises and contexts, including experience of securing institutional funding and overseeing projects from major humanitarian donors and integrating Child Protection, Cash assistance and accountability into EiE programming.

The EiE Advisor is also part of the Plan International surge team and deploys approximately 30% of the time.

This role will also be required to undertake regular additional travel in relation to the Plan International UK EiE portfolio.

If you thrive at working in partnership, enjoy building relationships across the NGO sector and have a genuine passion for our values, feminist leadership principles and vision, we would love to hear from you
