Strategic Travel Business Development Manager

Strategic Travel Business Development Manager Duties:
- Pro-actively identify the continuous improvement of prospect quality and revenue performance
- Contact and secure new business in the non-profit, event travel and group travel markets by applying consultative sales techniques and by promoting relevant products and services to achieve maximum profitability.
- Identifying and delivering customer solutions that build long term partnership opportunities.
- Investigating industry trends and customer data to identify new prospects and revenue streams.
- Efficiently prospecting for potential new clients using multiple channels including networking, tender sites, and referrals.
- Identify market trends and monitor competitor product and pricing.

Strategic Travel Business Development Manager - Essential Requirements:
- Business Development experience within the travel industry.
- High energy and charisma.
- Ability to confidently interrupt client agenda and gain their buy-in in a short space of time.
- Keen to drive business performance, successful customer solutions, and personal success.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using MS Office (including PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Foreign language skills (French, German, Italian, Dutch) – ideal but not essential.
- Applicant must be based in the UK
