They are in search of a dynamic leader full of enthusiasm, a passion for learning, and a drive for business success. While previous experience with a Tourism Marketing and PR Agency is preferred, applications from candidates with a strong background in product, marketing, or partnerships within leading tour operators, tourism boards, or hotel companies are also welcomed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, lead the team in creating and executing marketing and sales strategies.
  • Evaluate existing Tourism accounts to pinpoint growth areas.
  • Prepare pitches and RFPs for new and existing clients.
  • Establish relationships with new clients, comprehend their needs, and formulate proposals.
  • Conduct market research and analyze competition to make strategic decisions.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee strategic marketing plans.
  • Organize top-notch industry events on behalf of clients.
  • Expand the department and guide the business development of the Tourism Marketing & PR Team.
  • Provide business development performance reports to the General Manager and collaborate with other departments.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the tourism industry with team management responsibilities.
  • Higher university degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive personal network within the UK & Ireland tourism sector, and a solid contact base with tourism boards, cruise companies, and hotel chains.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, promote teamwork, and possess coaching experience.
  • Charismatic, adaptable to changing environments and client demands.
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic about the travel industry.
  • Exceptional written communication and presentation abilities.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish and French is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Products, and other relevant platforms (Canva, etc.)
  • Enthusiastic and committed to continuous improvement.
  • A leader capable of empowering, motivating, and coaching the team.
