Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Reporting to: Transformation Projects Enablement Manager
Location: London, Docklands, or Coventry. Our policy allows for a hybrid work setup, with a minimum of four office days in a fortnight.
At Financial Ombudsman Service, we are dedicated to elevating our service standards by pioneering modern, efficient, and accessible dispute resolution methods.
In recent years, our Service has undergone significant transformations to enhance customer experiences and financial sustainability. Moving forward, we aim for even greater achievements in redefining customer experience swiftly.
Collaborating with Customer Journey Owners, Process Improvement specialists, and technology platform stakeholders, your role will be pivotal in enhancing customer experiences through service design and optimization. Your contributions will be vital in realizing our transformation objectives and strategic goals.
Based on insights into customer needs, behaviors, and preferences, you will utilize customer-centered design thinking to create innovative service solutions, optimize service delivery, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your approach will involve research, design thinking, prototyping, and teamwork to refine services aligned with our objectives and customer value.
This role demands specialized technical skills in customer-centered service design, coupled with effective communication and influencing abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing best practices in customer-centered service design to meet customer experience goals.
- Gaining insights into customer needs, behaviors, and preferences through data and research.
- Utilizing design thinking methodologies to map customer journeys and design service blueprints.
- Engaging stakeholders to validate service ideas and gather feedback.
- Continuously optimizing services to enhance customer experience and streamline processes.
- Communicating service concepts and improvements effectively through visual tools.
- Engaging with stakeholders of all levels during the design process.
